Yes. It's easy to get to. But I absolutely hate that dock they put us in when we're delivering packaging.

I always liked that place, honestly. But, I remember that it's tight. What made it nice was the folks who work there. Always friendly and patient. Looking back, that place was a blessing. Been there half a dozen times and always loved the people. The tight spaces in my Millis truck were fantastic training for what I deal with now. No exaggeration here... My worst experience at Millis was on par with my typical experience here. Tight spots, impossible routes, disorganized customers. Thank god for a more manueverable truck. And better pay. More money always comes with a price though. Be careful what you wish for I guess.

You are right about the people there. They're friendly and understanding. After being there 3 times, that dang door 38 doesn't scare me too much either, as long as there's not a tanker parked right there where you need to setup to do a 90 degree because that dumpster they have there makes a 45 degree impossible.

Of all the places I've been to, I think my favorite is where I just picked up: Woeber's Mustard in Springfield, OH. It's a live load but every single thing about the place seems to say "We love truck drivers and we want to make their experience here a pleasant one."

Treasure those moments, they don't happen often.

Have you ever picked up from GP in Big Island, VA? Place is a royal pain in the cajones to get to, but the people there were all really pleasant, too. It's always been that way with any Menards too. The folks in Plano are especially nice.

You mentioned better maneuverability now. What kind of trailer are you pulling nowadays?

There is a Woebers in Wisconsin somewhere, cannot remember where, that is nice too. Very large parking lot and dock area meant for trucks. Who would of thought.

Dry van. But I have a bigger gap between my truck and trailer. Makes all the difference in the world.

Maybe that's how they do it company-wide. That's how the place is in Springfield. There's enough room in front of the docks where they can assign you a door before it's empty and you can setup to straight line back into it just as soon as the other guy pulls out. Everybody is really nice and the process is painless. It takes them a minute to inspect your trailer and load you but they pay detention.
