I'm going back to my "home time blows" comment. Jesus, nothing gets done unless I'm home. A historian talking about the German alliance with Austria-Hungary in ww1 used the term "fettered to a corpse". It's one of my favorite quotes. It aptly describes what I feel when I come home. I already have a ton of crap on my plate. Now I have to deal with everyone else's as well. FML. Someone shoot me please.

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds

@Steelersjunkie
Sorry man, I couldn't find the abbreviated clip, just hit the last 30 seconds.
-
Not sure which part you wanted to apply to me. But, I love that movie as corny as it is now. And no, I don't feel lucky, but pull that trigger anyway.
-
I'm about to go to work. Leaving home, delivering a load, coming back home. 90 miles round trip. I'm gonna be friggin exhausted. I think I'll be due for a nap
-
So here's the dock I had to hit just now. The next post will be truck pics. Fn ridiculous. By the way, those trailers you see in this picture are 48-footers.

Note the gap between the back of the trailer and the dock. Best I could do after a dozen attempts. The dock guy said it's the best he's seen in a while

Cleveland, man, GD Cleveland.

Okay, I would be exhausted and need a nap after trying to hit that dock too. That place sucks bad.
Yeah, I was trying to find just the part of the clip with the gun pointed at the screen and being fired because you said just shot me, but wasn't able to. -
I had no idea that dock was coming. But, it's Cleveland, so I pretty much expect it to be like that. Or worse. I edited that original post that shows the satellite pic. Those trailers you see are 48-footers. Company trailers. And their company trucks are 2 axle day cabs. I really hate that so much freight moves in and out of that city, AND that it's so close to home. I made it from that dock to my TA in less than an hour. At least it isn't Cincinnati, I won't touch that place. But whatever, it's done, let the home time begin. The only thing interrupting my time is a quick trip to New York on Friday morning to grab a load of Cummins motors and come right back home. Time to kick back and enjoy a beer and the jaw-droppingly-beautiful bartenders at my local watering hole. Not sure who does the hiring here, but they need a raise. Cheers y'all.
