STP and Megadeth? Weird combo for sure. I've only seen Megadeth once, sadly. Great show. Megadeth, Testament, and Judas Priest. Never been much of a Priest fan, I left shortly after the first two bands finished lol. The atmosphere got weird very quickly.

I think you need to relax a little. Remember what it was like to be new. There are definitely differences from state to state and there is certainly no harm in asking. There are plenty of truckers out there that got grandfathered in on a chauffeur license. They never had to take the test. Are you saying trucking isn't for them as well? If you aren't going to be helpful to new folks, this thread is definitely not for you. Go be annoying somewhere else.

I'm very relaxed..just sitting here drinking coffee and patiently waiting for SEC Nation to come on. I am well aware of grandfathered drivers getting a CDL ,I was one of'em.You had to have a clean record,a minium number of years driving and a letter from your company saying something to the effect that you were up to snuff...not worried a bit about them boys, they are good drivers. This stuff I see coming out of these schools today a lot of them I wouldn't let drive my lawnmower. As far as not helping new folk...You are not helping anybody in the long run if you show them a easy way around stuff like that..least where I come from hoss. If I am "annoying' you maybe you don't wanna hear the truth. Now, go check your Facebook for updates and get back to me.

    Oh lawd. One of those.

Next time you're on 19 crying about nobody having their CBs turned on, find the nearest mirror and you'll see why.

I can't argue your point about some new drivers. Blame the megas for that. Millis training is very in depth and difficult. They aren't a cookie-cutter company. You aren't going to see crappy drivers there, period. Training and testing are two completely separate animals. These guys are getting top level training. They aren't Swifties. There are plenty of people who passed the test that YOU NEVER TOOK and are terrible drivers. There is no reason why a quality caliber driver should get hung up because a particular state's test is overly difficult.

Back to the topic at hand.

Yeah most of the people there weren't too happy with STP and wanted them off the stage. Somebody threw a lighter at Weiland and even back then he was a jerk and invited whoever threw it at him to a fight. I've seen Megadeth twice. Once then and then in 2010. They did all of Rust in Peace, then Slayer came out and did all of Seasons in the Abyss so it was a great night aside from the one drunk guy behind us shouting "PLAY ANGEL OF DEATH!" every time there was a break in the music.

I like classic Judas Priest. Their new stuff doesn't do it for me at all. I passed on them a couple of years ago because I thought they were going to be doing newer material and they ended up doing mostly older stuff. I kind of kick myself for that one.

    #### man, Megadeth and Slayer? Wow, that must have been awesome. I'm jealous. Rust In Peace is my favorite album. And Seasons In The Abyss was amazing as well. One of the days we gotta figure out a way to hook up for a beer. I'd love to hear the stories. I think, and I may be wrong, Priest was touring on the Painkiller album when I saw them. I stayed for the first 5 or 6 songs and the crowd turned real ugly. But, par for the course. Don't like truckers, don't like bikers. The whole atmosphere changed as soon as they hit the stage. Fights and a general electric feeling took over the whole place. It got really weird really fast.

I met Glenn once, briefly. Interesting dude. And Type O Negative... haven't heard that name in a while. Love that band! Christian Woman can be heard regularly in my truck lol.
