Lol that's the exact name that popped into my head when I saw the load. Heavy haul P. I will be calling to inquire this morning when the broker's office opens. Not sure who he/she is, never worked with that agency before, at least that I can recall. If nothing else, I wanna know what the commodity is. Curiosity is killing me. By itself, it isn't a spectacular load. The return trip and repeat loads is what would make it valuable.

It's funny you mention 220, I was just on it. Had a run from Colfax NC to Syracuse NY two runs ago. That road isn't nearly as bad as I remembered, but it still sucks lol.BazookaJoe Thanks this.

Due to a set of bizarre circumstances, I never had time to look at that Trenton load. But, I did a 6 month query on that lane and nothing popped up. So it appears to either be a new lane for us, or a one-off circumstance. I find the latter hard to believe. Gonna keep my ears to the ground for this one.

I'm going to be ####y for a moment. I've been calling for the head of Todd Haley for a few years now. The Steelers finally fired him. Browns hire him and he doesn't even make it for half a season. I am laughing my ### off. Bye Felicia.
MIT Thanks this. -
Yeah I was literally just on it . Only been in training a couple days. After that I feel I can take on the world. Now for you veterans it’s provably nothing at all. But I was so happy when we pulled into Eden.

That route is no small feat. I am not comfortable being called a veteran, and I remember every inch of being new. That's a rough road. The day will come where it'll feel normal, I promise.MIT Thanks this.

Just curious... where were you coming from? If it was Trenton, please look at the QC load message and post the miles. I can't believe 460 is worth the miles and fuel they think they're saving. If it's my truck, I'm taking 77 to 81 to Roanoke, then 581 to 220. 460 is where broken dreams begin for anyone aspiring to have a life beyond company trucking. It's a ridiculous road, especially if you're going west. Dodge that road. Your future will depend on what you do at Millis and whatever Dan feels like reporting to the DAC report. It ain't worth your time. It most certainly isn't a time or fuel saver. If you get scolded for extra miles, remind them of how much wasted fuel happens on 460.Last edited: Nov 1, 2018

You just took me WAY back in time with this statement. I felt the exact same way after running that road for the first time. It's a good feeling, ain't it?
You'll have other stories to tell in the future, but that road is a major accomplishment. Welcome to trucking, sir. You earned the 220/460 badge. As far as I'm concerned, you're in the trucker tribe

It didn't seem so bad for me this time. But I will say that I was happy that my reload was in Lexington so I didn't have to come back up it and back west across 460.Steelersjunkie Thanks this.

Instead, for the first time in my life, I had to deal with fog on Fancy Gap.
Now keep in mind that from 1996 until 2009 I lived in various parts of North Carolina and traveled up and down that mountain a lot going back and forth between WV and NC... and never hit fog until today.
