I consider Walton and Florence to be the same area. Yes, both Pilots in that area are awful. The Flying J has a ton of parking, but good luck getting out without knocking on someone's door so that you have room to move. The TA in Florence is your best bet. The mechanics there are fairly decent as well if your truck or trailer needs a bandaid.

 

Yup, that's the one. The truck stop itself wasn't bad. Actually kinda roomy considering it's location. And like I said, the restaurant across the street was pretty respectable. But man it gets nutty at night around there.

 

You know, I've heard that exact same thing from a friend of mine at home. He's originally from WV and moved away like 25-ish years ago and gets treated like an outsider. Even by his family. Weird.

 

Man did I just catch a lucky break. Got unloaded before my appointment time, and I got permission to park from a local store 3 miles away from my pickup in the morning. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe this calls for a beer. But alas, there is none to be had around here

 

Nope, this is the fault of the broker, not the load.
