Thanks @MACK E-6 I appreciate you. I'm not sure exactly what part of my post got it deleted, but it doesn't really matter. Thanks for letting my last few ride. I tried to be as respectful as possible. But if my thoughts didn't come out I would have exploded. Noone needs to see an exploded human. I imagine it's messy lol![]()

Ya fn redneck.
On another note, deadheaded my new record. Actually ran up with my 1st trainer whom we didn’t get along worth a f. Loaded outa Rome GA for Shelby stop and then to Eua Claire. Oh hell yes. About Paducah, got msg, drop in E St Louis no freight in IA. FFS,,,,,,
So I pulled into to the E St Louis drop yard, saw Millis truck, waved and I got the Fickle Finger of Fate Back. WTF. It was the trainer that pissed me off so bad. We jockeyed trailers around to fit in our little space, had a blast.
Dispatch to both of us. Trenton, OH. He to Syracuse, me to Richfield. 355 miles deadhead. Um, okay. We’re like WTF? Anyway, we hauled arse towards Trenton but neither of us had the hours to make it yesterday. We shut down on I-70 just E of Indy at that Flying Hook by the go-cart track. 643 for him, 692 for me,,,,,,, that elusive 700. ###### man, I’ve a goal to whip @keen98
Anyway, sittin in Richfield, this fn lot is full, I mean full. Taking tomorrow off to spend with my WI family.
Hope y’all have a wonderful and safe New Year.

Dam right. Hopefully you said that with a smile on your face
The straightest heads sit on top of a red neck. Not sure what goes on in the mind of a hillbilly, but us rednecks are just fine lol. I miss you man. Gimme a call soon.

I'm just curious, how long was your deadhead? I took a crazy hazmat load once to some ridiculously remote spot in Alabama. It was so desolate and vacant of freight that I had to run 350 miles to get to my next load. But if you're gonna pay me 5 bucks a mile for a 10k lb load, I'm you're man lol.

Are they loaded trailers, usable empties, or are they all locked out? Last couple of times I've been there it's mostly been out of service trailers.
Those are some long deadheads. I thought I was deadheading a long way when I went from Jacksonville to Cedar Springs although I knew it was going to happen before it happened. -
743 miles is my record so.....oh and current student hit 697 miles on Thursday and he doesnt even have 4500 miles yet lol. He wanted to drive around the lot just to get the 3 other miles lmao

This is the saddest day of my entire life. I've had some choice moments, but this is the worst. My stepmom told me a while ago that if my dad got to the point where he can't drive anymore, or just shouldn't, I have to be the one to take the keys. I believe that moment has arrived. Have you ever tried to take the keys away from a trucker? If you have, gimme some advice. This is gonna be awful. I fully expect a fight. This ain't gonna end well.

Sorry to hear this and sorry I don’t have advice on something like this, but good luck and I hope for the best possible turn out.

Thanks man. He's going to hate me. I believe that his mind is slipping. So if he's mad when I take the keys, that's how he'll always remember me. I worked in a nursing home with Alzheimer's patients. I know how this road goes. I'm always going to be hated in his mind. Awesome. Better me than his wife, I guess. I hate so very much the idea of hating my wife as a last memory. I don't really want to hate anyone. But if left with the choice I suppose I'd rather hate my kid than my wife. Neither is good :*(Last edited: Dec 30, 2018
