Looks like there's guys doing their 10 parked over there in the little drop lot on the side. I think if they ever load me I'm gonna circle around and park alongside the driveway and do mine. This load is due in Trenton at 1 PM tomorrow. As of right now I'm not really sure if I care if it makes it.

Who's the shipper?
-
Owens in Lexington. What will probably happen is I'll tell dispatch in the morning that it's going to be late and they'll have me drop it in Wayne Madison instead of taking it to Le Saint. Even if I make it there on time there's a good chance the receiving guy at Le Saint will have me drop it over in the Wayne Madison yard anyhow so I'm definitely not going to break my neck getting it there.

Welcome to Owens Brockway in Lexington. Definitely 1 of my top 5 hated places to go
Farmer54 Thanks this. -
That place is such a joke

Until today I have loved this place. Why? Because I've not had to interact with a human being. I go in, put my load info in the computer, print my bills, drop my empty, hook up to my loaded, seal it, axle out, and gtfo of town. I wish every load was like that.

You've been tricked lol thats not the real Owens...what you're dealing with now is the real Owens....you should've played the lottery on those other trips there cuz you def were lucky
-
Yup, very few complaints about Millis. Again only two that are of any concern: auto only testing and cameras/safety gizmos. Not enough to turn me away yet.
Now I'm worrying over my work history. As I mentioned I've been working in China the last 8 years. Last 2 for myself and previous 6 for under the table pay (the most common type of pay in China). -
Yeah today has sucked. Even the live loads out at Waco were pleasant as much as a live load can be pleasant. This place can kiss my butt if this is how it is most of the time. They couldn't even be bothered to come tell me they were done and I was in a door that didn't have a working light.
I'm taking your advice the next time I'm here and it's a nice smooth drop, hook, and book. I'll buy some Powerball. -
You shouldn’t have any worry about work history as long as it’s verifiable. I was self employed for 18 years and had absolutely no problems.
