But you hate that yard! I do too. That thing was as rutted out as Aleppo. Hopefully this means it's getting a facelift.

There are times where I hate my friends or my family. However, I have no choice but to love them. Home is home, man. Yeah, those yards sucked when I was there. It's still home.

Travel impact
- If you have travel plans this weekend in the affected areas of the Midwest and Northeast, you may want to begin considering changing those plans. now what do I do? What will happen if I can't get to class Monday?
-
You go anyhow! I was the only student in the Trenton class of February 2018 because the other guys couldn't make it because there was supposed to be snow. Bill and I commented on it then "Don't they know that they're going to have to drive in it once they get their CDL?" and it became a bit of a joke. I did my straight line backing practice on fresh snow, which meant I also got to learn how to rock the truck to get it to move when it started spinning out.Steelersjunkie Thanks this.

I'm flying my friend. I'm in Buffalo NY
-
Ahh I don't know about that. If I were you I would call your recruiter and explain the situation and see what they can do to reschedule you if the weather makes it impossible to fly.BullDozer-( Thanks this.

I'm hoping they are wrong on how bad it's going to be. I'm scheduled to fly out with a layover in Philadelphia at 6 am Sunday arrive at Mitchell airport around 11 am.
-
Your weak "link" literally will probably be Philadelphia. All of the upstate airports such as Buffalo are very good at dealing with winter weather.BullDozer-( Thanks this.
-
Lol I love it. Definitely sounds like something that guy would say. I miss that dude.
-
Well, you already have a check in the "plus" column. If you're from Buffalo, you're already used to driving in crappy weather. You're gonna do just fine in a truck. It isn't as bad as people think. Unless of course you're from the south and never had drive time in the snow. I fear for those folks.BullDozer-( Thanks this.
