Millis OTR journal

So after getting empty in Gastonia I was given a great load home. A 5 stop John Deere load out of Benson to Iowa and Minnesota that pays 1562 loaded plus 222 empty miles. Guess who's going to be saying "Eff that clock" trying to get home tonight?

Thanks lol it only took 3 days for Diane to get on me. Just doing it the way I was taught. No biggie though I will do it Diane’s way. No need to piss her off or make her job more difficult then it needs to be.

 

Ohhh if you wanted to know how to stay off her #### list I'm the wrong person to ask lol I'm on her #### list quite often lol sorry but i do this job to make $$$....i tell all my students read her lil messages, delete it, and move on. The world wont end lol

 

Going to have a good first week. Going to be at 2800 miles end of day tomorrow with preplan for Sunday and Monday.

My first 2 weeks in my trainers truck were tough. Things get easier after that. Insist on working on things you feel you need to improve on. I tried I was always worried about my backing. All my backing experience happened in the last week and a half of training. Lol still trying to figure that one out. Anyway all the stress you feel now out with your trainer will come back the first week out in your own truck. The freedom is great but oy it is stressful.
