11.5 hours today only 150 miles. My well thought out plan went into the toilet at 7 am. Can’t wait for tomorrow to start.

I had a hell of a day. Ran out of hours at the service plaza wear of Toledo with a load that was due in West Seneca, NY at 0645 this morning. Started rolling just as soon as I got my recap hours back at 0101. Then I had my first experience with having to bang on somebody's door to make them move becAuse they were in the way. That was fun. Got the load there about 30 minutes late but they didn't mind. Got a reload but the appt wasn't until noon and QC notes say they won't take you early. I dick around and show up there around 11 and they go ahead and start loading me. They were pretty fast but by the time they were done, I was up against my 14. Check my GPS and if everything goes well I have just enough time to make it to Connect. Got here and finished up my post trip just as my 14 hit 0:00.

    I'm tired as ####. Y'all be safe.

Good thing I have an APU, so I get allowed an extra 400 on my drives. Otherwise this would be a ####ty run because I'd need two fuel stops. These numbers are with my tandems all the way forward. Good times

How do I get access to my safety bonus? Pretty sure they told me how in orientation but to be honest any thoughts of safety bonus at that time was pie in the sky. Do I just put my comdata card in atm? Use pin. Do I pick credit, checking or savings account?

You can check it in an ATM using the PIN or call the 800 number on the back using the PIN you set up in orientation.

How do I get it out? Lol haven’t used an ATM in over 20 years. Would it be like a cash advance so credit? Or does it come from a savings account or checking account on comdata card. I do have a pin set up I remember doing that.

I just returned to Millis a couple months ago and this is is the first safety bonus since then. I cannot remember if it is checking or savings. I think it is checking but not really sure. Try them both or wait for someone else to chime in here.

Thanks I am clueless. Probably should have paid closer attention but my first day I wasn’t really thinking about safety bonus or how I get it.

No they dont care bout seals. And put comdata card in ATM and use pin and select checking. its a $3 or 4 fee. You can also write a Com check to yourself and cash at your bank with no fee.

    MIT Thanks this.
