True. Falcon had way too many eggs in that basket known as the Lordstown GM Plant. Had the same problem with the job I had before I became a truck driver. We had too many eggs in the basket known as Time-Warner Cable. It was like that the whole 14 years I worked for them and they never seemed to be able to do anything about it. When Time-Warner and Charter merged and became Spectrum it was the end of the road for us.

Speaking of which. I was talking to a friend of mine that drives for Swift about my experiences with Millis and about how they've been overall very positive. I got to thinking about what an absolute spoiled brat I was at my last job. I mean... I was pretty much unfireable and sometimes I took advantage of that. For somebody to go from a cushy desk job where they were spoiled, to working for a trucking company and be generally happy with that trucking company, that company has to be pretty decent.

 

What was your friend's experience at Swift compared to yours at Millis?

 

I’d not lose any sleep over losing WestRock. Except for the S Chicago yard. That place is easy to get into, easy to dnh and easy to get out of.

 

Hey @keen98 I found a worse drop lot than the Wayne Madison lot. La Crosse, it’s on site now not across the River. What a muddy fn mess.

 

Oh for the glass loads?? Yes that place sucks!! Should have been there when there was a foot of snow on the ground!!

 

So from Sadieville KY Loves at 1230am today, to Acworth GA, up to Chatsworth GA, and here we sit in Edgerton WI at 11pm....student did 632.3 miles today and I did 599.6......soooo just a measely 1232 miles to the truck today in less than 22.5 hrs with 1 live unload, and 2 fuel stops.....I think its time for a couple hr nap before I finish this run to Eau Claire.

Memphis to Rochester down to Avon grab load to Acworth. Up to Chatsworth grab load to Eau Claire and then down to LaCrosse grab load to Memphis, go home for 48hrs and deliver Monday morning.....thats a decent week lol

 

You in La Crosse now? Had truck worked at KW late yesterday. I’m at KT xt12 waiting on a load.

 

Leavin eau claire now headed that way I kinda overslept on my 2hr nap lol.

 

Cool, got my La Crosse Memphis turn around. Might just have to stop in Hayti.
