Does the glass place across street from Miller in Trenton accept early delivery?

 

I swear I think this load is cursed. All the traffic backups yesterday. Then I wake up today and the QC won't come up afteraI started the truck. So, I start a paper log and get moving. Stopped in Toledo and fueled . When I started the truck back up, no AC. I stop at the Wyandot service plaza and call dispatch. They tell me to keep rolling on paper logs and that they'd try to get me to a terminal soon. I have them transfer me to Diana so I can get my recap hours. She sends a reset to my QC. After I get back out to the truck, I start it up. AC is blowing cold and the QC comes on. Then I get to PA and there's an 8 mile backup on 80 due to construction. I am finally parked and I need a shower so fkn bad so that's what I'm gonna do, then PTFO. I still have 2 and a half hours to the final and an 0700 delivery.

At least I have a preplan already, though.

 

Yes you should be fine going early. If not msg dispatch ask to just drop it at terminal or wayne madison

 

I actually needed my heat this morning and it would not work. Coincidentally I was in PA too but on I81. I started out at 1:30 am to try to avoid the crap I had run into yesterday. Glad I did because I came up on 3 different construction areas where it went down to 1 lane which I'm sure would have been a mess later in the day.

Heat started working randomly in NY after I stopped to use the bathroom and had shut the truck off. Worked when it started back up.

Gremlin do you have the 800 number you can call to have your QC reset? I do it from time to time when I don't need it just to try to keep it refreshed. Can do it 24/7, all automated. You have to have your QC unit number to punch

I don't know, but every time I've ever been there but once, they've had me take it over to the Wayne Madison yard so I'm guessing that's what they'll do if you show up early.

How in the world did you ever get a glass load there early? You must've put a can of Red Bull in each fuel tank.

Had 730 pm appt at Owens Brockway tonight I showed up at noon, trailer was already loaded. My appt time is 10:30 pm Friday night.
