Also ask dispatch as they have been known to drop Rochester loads in Richfield to keep drivers rolling thru the weekend.

Seriously it got to the point at 1 time that Opie would apologize to me when he sent me the load lolSuspect Zero Thanks this.

What a waste of a day. Stupid directions take you to the glass place no f ing mention that it’s supposed to go to the drop yard on Wayne Madison. If I freaking knew that I would have been on the road at 4 am!! Get to glass place and the office people are “ what’s going on with you Millis drivers, you are the 3 rd guy tonight and 20 th this month. Take it over to the drop lot across the street”.
-
i feel better now that I ate, but seriously talked to another guy tonight where the same thing happened. Oh well live and learn. glass goes to drop yard.
-
Whats it say in the "other information " part of the load info? Could've sworn in the past it said on there to drop glass at Wayne Madison. But then again my dispatcher tells me that info when he gives me the load....I'm guessing with a few new dispatchers in there now that some info isnt getting properly relayed

It talks of beer arriving on the weekends should be dropped at Wayne Maddison nothing about glass. Also it says weekday spots should go to whse but those guys at whse say it all should go to drop yard.
Speaking of dispatchers how often do you guys talk to your dispatcher? I know someone who it seems like he talks to his everyday. Should I be talking to my dispatcher more? Lol only twice in 2 months have I called him. Last time was when computers were down and wanted him to know I delivered and found a safe place to park until comps were back up. -
You're doing it right. No need to make needless or unnecessary phone calls if a QC message will work. I think most dispatchers prefer it that way.Suspect Zero Thanks this.

I wonder when my luck is going to run out with my clock. Going to University Park. When I took my 30 minute break, the GPS said I should have 24 minutes to spare on my 70 after I get to the final. So at first I thought that wasn't enough wiggle room and had plans to stop at the Gary TA and deliver in the morning. But I'm starting to enjoy this kind of challenge plus I wanted to at least get on the board for a load in the a.m. I get to Lake Station and traffic is moving along and no chatter about backups on the radio so once again I take my chances and deliver. Now I'm empty, sitting at the Monee Pilot with 0:08 on my 70 and already have a load from Plano to Shelby lined up for tomorrow.
This Pilot sucks. I should've gone to the Petro but I was here and there was one remaining parking spot so I took it. Ugh why is this place full at 2 p.m. on a Saturday?Farmer54 Thanks this.
