    What did he want? Money?

Next time, just point to the "help wanted" sign.

No, he definitely wanted the food. I was just put off by the fact that he just took it and bolted.

I've naturally watched a ton of videos on backing, which basically haven't taught me much of anything other than how difficult it looks to be. Some of these close-in or tight situations I've seen online are unbelievable. You think, that truck is not going to fit or there's no way to pull off that maneuver. If there is anything I've learned by watching the videos it looks to me like you just have to practice and gain experience to get good at it. The more experience the better I guess, but I appreciate the advice. I'll bet it can become pretty demoralizing, plus my number one concern is of course backing into something I shouldn't or running over something. It also looks like you need to get out of the truck and look a hell of a lot more than I would have assumed, but that seems pretty essential...

There's nothing like an unplanned trip home to brighten your day :) Even if part of it will be spent standing in line at the DMV :biggrin_2559:

Mentally ill people sometimes forget proper etiquette. Understand that, and it won't mess up your day as much.

I know what y'all are thinking. "Hey Steelers, we want a really boring update!" Well my friends, I got you covered. Yesterday was a picture perfect day for driving. Great weather, minimal traffic, hammer down. My goal was to get within an hour of my final, and I failed. But, I did log 600 miles, so not bad. I bypassed Cincy and Columbus because of accidents and that pulled me down a little. I ended up 2 hours away from my final, good enough. It was an easy dock and a fast unload. I spoke to Opie ahead of time to ask about swinging by home. He got me a load that was ready for pickup at 5pm, but I don't have to get it until tomorrow morning. And that place is 24/7 so I can go whenever. It's a Smuckers run heading to Georgia, due on Friday morning. Easy peasy. I got tags for my vehicles and ran a few errands for mama. She was able to switch an appointment she had tonight for another day, so I'll get to at least have dinner with her before the night is over. Well, that's it. Like I said, boring update. I'm gonna go take what we call a "disco nap" around these parts. That's the nap you take so you have the energy to go out lol. Hope you're all doing well. Be safe out there. Peace y'all.

Here's a handy PSA for y'all. If you get a C.H. Robinson broker load, download the app. It's a life changer.

    SCH-WEET!! :)
Unexpected little "breaks in the routine" like that can really give you a breath of fresh air and a little extra charge in the batteries can't they? I like the "disco nap" lol, I'm gonna steal that one! :D
Thanks for the heads up about the broker app, now I just need to find out where to download it and I'll be prepared in advance!
Once I drop this load at my final tonight I have a live load preanned that delivers in Atlanta, who knows maybe a pow-wow at 2nd Half could be in the cards!! :blackknight:

Yo Falcon, that app is available on Google Play. If you get a load from them, just tell them to text you the link ;)
