And once again I am humbled by the infamous Lexington Warehouse. I didn't even have a hard door this time (84) and no trailers on either side and it still took a good minute for me to get it in right.

Does anyone know if Heidelberg in Moraine will take me early? I doubt I'll make it there too early since I'm gonna be out of hours by the time I'm loaded, but just in case.

They always took me early, for whatever that's worth. Great place to deliver by the way.

    I've had worse. I don't think I've had a stinkier night, though.

Awesome. I'll have like 2 hours left on my 70 after I make it there tomorrow. Gives me enough time to find a truck stop and do some laundry.

They got me loaded pretty fast so I was actually able to make it out of Rochester and to a service plaza for the night so at least I'm 50 miles closer.

Lemme tell y'all what happened there today. Pull up a chair. It's story time...

So they call me to tell me my load is ready. I go to the warehouse to get it. Copper colored Volvo is right behind me. I pull up to the door. It opens. Inside there's a Prime truck sitting there, hazards flashing, doors closed. I sit there for a minute. No movement. Volvo guy gets out of his truck and comes to talk to me. Russian guy (shocker, right?) He needs the door my trailer is on. Prime guy gets out of his truck, talking in his phone while I'm talking to the Russian guy,and walks past us outside. We figure he's loaded but is talking to shipping and needed to go outside to get a signal. No... This mother####er comes back in carrying a giantass pizza. I guess he had ordered it while waiting for his door call and got the call before his pizza got there. So i fuss at him because my 14 is ticking down and he's in my way. He acts like I'm the bad guy. Then he proceeds to start trying to back into Door 82. I ain't got time for this ####. I have room to hook up without being in his way, so I hook up and leave through the "in" door. I stopped just outside the door and strapped my load and axled out. Poor ####### was still trying to get it in the dock when I left. Something tells me he might still be working on it.

Had 28 minutes left on 14 when I arrived. 15 minutes burned waiting on phone in guard house. 20 burned waiting on girl to inspect trailer. 50 burned because brand new trailer had break issue. No escaping this place tonight.

Oh then to top it off before any of this happened I was trying to find that 273 pulled over on the bridge right before it. Lol look in my mirror and Georgia’s finest was right behind me to help me out. 15 mins bsing with the cop didn’t help my clock at all but he was a pretty cool guy. Took me over to his car pulled up a map that I could never afford and led me right into the place.
Which is a good thing. Stupid GPS was having a fit guess it doesn’t like 273 after about 10 miles it just plain gave up offering me directions

Haha yeah GPS thinks there's a weight restriction on a small bridge somewhere along 273.

At least you didn't do like I did the first time I went there:. I ended up in Florida. Not even joking. The story is somewhere way back in this thread.

Wait wait wait how are you guys getting loads when there are no miles at Millis?

    Ok ok I'll shut up

You guys have fun this weekend, student passed so after 6 weeks of having a student its my routine to takena few days off. Got home last night, bought a new 2019 Ram today. Idk how I got approved for the loan since there is no $$$ to be made here but it must've been on my stunning good looks. Im now in Chicago and taking my Twins, my mom, niece and nephew to their 1st game at Wrigley ever tomorrow. Should be a good time. Be safe everyone
