Can somebody tell me why in the world a Kenworth shop wouldn't keep Cummins fuel pumps in stock? I am *still* in the shop in Princeton, WV.

I was told Monday when we got there that they wouldn't get around to my truck until Wednesday. Fine. I call them yesterday.. It was the fuel pump that was hosed (I told them this). They couldn't even be bothered to order one until yesterday. Last I heard was this morning and they were still waiting on it. Dispatch tells me that the beer load is still sitting over there too so it's going to be extremely late.

At least I'm getting breakdown pay for sitting here. I didn't know Millis did that. They must just do it under extreme circumstances because I didn't get it when I broke down and spent the weekend in a rest area last summer.

Nope, wasn’t me. I tend to stay in my truck at terminals unless taking a shower or washing clothes. #gearjammers
Running up with Toby in the morning.

1 steak equals 2 knives and zero forks?

Was telling @Steelersjunkie about the time going down TN 109 when I saw a guy walking down the side of the road carrying a chain saw. This isn't on THAT level but you southern boys are startin' to creep me out....

Also, if you microwave that thing I'm gonna smack you upside the head with a wet burrito.

    Steelersjunkie and dwells40 Thank this.

You know me, I might like that.
Nah that’s going in the broiler, haven’t got my grill set up like I want it yet. Now, about that wet burrito,,,,,,,,

EDIT: those two knives have special meaning. Especially the pocket knife. :)

Heh that's precisely why I was in there. Was waiting for some clothes to dry and for my wings to arrive.

On my load out from the house a couple of weeks ago I was driving across US50 through Doddridge County, WV (which is just one county over from where I live) and there was this guy carrying (or more like dragging) a life-sized crucifix down the side of the road. I was tempted to stop and ask him if Jesus had finally come back or something.

Every time I'm at a shipper (or sometimes a receiver, but usually a shipper) and they are having computer problems (which is often) it makes me happy that it is NOT MY FKN JOB anymore to deal with that crap. I never did desktop support anyhow, and I feel really, really sorry for any poor schmuck that gets stuck doing it. But those poor schmucks like to blame the network before doing any real testing, and that's when my phone would ring.

So after a technical difficulty I'm pulled from the Cartersville class in late July and now I start class in Trenton on July 22nd. I had a parent living in Cartersville who listed a house for sale and moved out of state, there went my Georgia mailing address. Now I have to figure out how to "move" from Ohio to technically nowhere and use my other parents address in PA, starting right as I go to Millis. Maybe use an Ohio friends address until I have my CDL in hand and then transfer it afterwards? One of these days I'll be posting in this thread as an actual otr Millis driver lol
