    I'm not sure. That's a good question.

Yep that's the plan. I set 2 alarms 10 minutes apart, if I accidentally turn the first one off instead of hitting snooze the second one will catch me. The first one is nice, it starts quiet and gradually gets louder, the second one will wake the dead lol

Well, that's a relief lol... I thought I was the only weirdo doing that :) Not sure if this'll happen for you or not @RS730 but after a while you may not even need those alarms. I don't sleep a whole lot anymore and my body doesn't really seem to need as much as it used to. I'm typically up before my alarms have a chance to go off. It's normal for me to get 4 or 5 hours and then just wake up. I was worried when that became a normal thing, so I asked other truckers about it. It isn't that way for everyone but it seems to be a pretty large percentage. Drives my wife insane when I'm at home. I set my alarm for 6am today and was up at 5. I snuck out of the room without bothering her but accidentally left one of my phones in the room and of course that woke her up. Not pleased at all. She constantly scolds me for not sleeping more, but I can't help it. I'm just up.

My dad been retired now for 4yrs and he just this past month finally slept in past 0530 lol. Guess 28yrs driving it takes awhile to break it lol

And ya 4 or 5hrs when on the road and i can knock out 11hr driving day no problem. Students are always asking me wtf is wrong with me lol. Sleep 3 hrs get up drive 5 then they wake up drive 11 and I'm still functioning normal lol

Well, good. I'm not a freak then. Maybe I oughta have you call my wife and put her nagging to an end. For the most part she's super cool, but she won't let the sleep thing go.

I wake up before my alarm quite often. I can't get by on 4 or 5 hours but often do 6 to 6 1/2 hours. I prefer sleep in day every few days and by that I mean 7 to 8 hours. Some times I catch it with a load I get or I just get to sleep soon after stopping for the day.

I like starting early and ending early. Less traffic and time wasting back ups or idiot drivers early in the morning. And because I start early I stop early enough that parking usually isn't a problem.

Yup, same here. I try to get started between midnight and 3am as long as the load allows. Can't start until 5 tomorrow but being a Saturday traffic should be ok. Unless of course the holiday brings atypical travelers. It was a ghost town out there today, hopefully that continues.

I don't like running super early but not late either. I prefer getting up around 4 and rolling by 5, and if I'm sitting empty and waiting for a load and I haven't gotten anything by 8 I'm usually starting to get cranky.

The load I took home delivers in Ridgeway at 11 so I'll have to be rolling by 4 in order to get it down there on time. That won't be awful but I really hate when I have to get up at like midnight or 1. Although... The anxiety of trying to find parking is pretty much non-existent when I'm ending my driving day at 1 or 2 p.m. so I can definitely understand why a lot of you guys prefer to run like that.

Man I fell sorry for anyone running through my state during this holiday. Cops are always out but the last couple days have been insane. PA bears were out too, but not like here. I don't know if I can remember ever seeing so many of them out at once. Extremely happy to be parked, I know that. Greetings from my humble abode. Hope y'all are doing well today.

I drove from Ohio to Georgia for Memorial day weekend, I remember seeing TWELVE speed traps in Ohio, and once I was out of Ohio all the way to my Dad's house in Cartersville I saw maybe another 2 or 3 cops. Twelve in Ohio, it was nuts
