Millis OTR journal

I'll be taking 1 of you guys from the Richfield class as of right now. Just depends on which person lives the closest to me. Hoping I can get up there and meet the class before hand.

 

Where do you live?

Also, what do we need to bring the first day of class? Everything? Atlas, work gloves, ruler, etc? Or are there certain things we don't need to haul in from the hotel the first day?

 

Central IL near Peoria IL. Dont worry bout bringing anything the 1st day that is for outside. Your 1st day you will be inside basically the whole day.

 

And idk how Jamie does it but when I went thru the school we were able to just leave our stuff in the rook every night so didnt have to lug it back n forth each night.

 

So atlas, school stuff (pens, pads)?

Pretty much but again if you bring everything you should be able to leave it in the room each night. It gets locked up at the end of your day

 

Take your atlas’s your pens, ruler, and gloves with you. You will leave it all in room if you desire. First day is drug test and lots of paperwork.

 

Now... Here's some of the #### they pull that chaps my ###. They have some real winners in weekend dispatch.

I deliver to Gas City and put in my empty call 0611 Eastern. First I'm told to head to Trenton. Then they tell me to disregard that. They have a load out of Indianapolis. It's a broker load. According to the info, it loads at 1300. My day started at 0311 Eastern so I'm done at 1511. I can't get ahold of anyone at the broker because it's still "after hours.". I tell dispatch about this and about my 14 and get blown off. On top of that it's not even 400 miles.

 

Lololol I made 'em mad so now they're gonna make me sit.
