Millis OTR journal

If it wasn't a broker load that's what I would have done even without them telling me. But since it's a broker load, I doubt I even have the right pickup number for it without contacting them.

 

I wonder if any of you guys talking to my dad, Chaplain Mark at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee. Guy worked for Millis, left, and has since returned. Was out on the road, kid ended up in the hospital. Contacted dispatch, got hooked up to transfer the load at a yard, and then home time to get to the hospital. No problem. Good thing to hear that Millis will do what it can to get you where you need to be.

 

Tell your Dad thank you for his work. I am most likely the World's Least Religious Person, but Children's Hospital is awesome for what they do, and your dad's contribution is important.

Somebody was on here a couple months ago. (Was it you, keen?) talking about how Millis dropped the ball on getting a driver where they needed to be when a loved one was on their deathbed, but other than that, I have heard that Millis is really good at doing that.

Ugh vacation about over. Back at it at 0600. Been off 2 weeks and still not ready to go back...

 

Not ready to come sit with the rest of us because there's never any freight at Millis? Or maybe the reason I've been getting loads so quickly and so consistently is because you've been gone. Hmmmm.

Now you can take all the loads that dispatch won't give to me because they're mad at me.

 

Never knew crows were so big, until I had one today fly right at my windshield and at the last second pull up and bounce off my roof.
