Man, if I had known you were in my hometown for the night, plus your birthday, I would have bought your dinner. Have a safe day today. Peace out!

Sup guys, hope y'all are doing well. I made it to Richfield, and dropped my trailer. Now I'm just waiting to get my truck serviced. If anyone will be around tonight, lemme know. Today was pretty boring, not much to report. I will, however, be jumping up on a soap box for a minute for a PSA. To all new drivers, and all future drivers... make sure you are doing a pre-trip every day, even if it's just a cursory glance at lights and tires. And CHECK YOUR PINS!!! Every single time I leave my truck, I ALWAYS check my fifth wheel lever, and then do a tug test. I did that this morning before I left, and my truck moved forward even though the pin was locked and the trailer brakes were on. Puzzled, I climbed out and looked. The fifth wheel was fine. At some point during the night, someone pulled the lever on my trailer tandems. I was friggin furious. I've heard stories about stuff like this happening, but it's never happened to me. Honestly I was starting to think it was just urban legend. My truck only went forward a foot, just enough to know something wrong. I moved the tandems back to their original position and locked them in. I can't believe that there are people out there who would do that, but apparently there are. And now, along with my fifth wheel, I will forever be paranoid about my tandems, and they will now get checked every time I come back to my truck. Karma will get that person eventually, hopefully sooner than later. I cringe to think what could have happened if I didn't catch it. Scary, man. Alright, that's my update for today. Catch y'all tomorrow. Peace.

Just because you're parinoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

I know you have your regular haunt but if you are into ribs grab the co vehicle and head over to Brisco County, 2 exits North. Take the exit ramp, left at the end, go over the highway and it's on your right.

If I was in Richfield tonight I'd drag your ### over there.

Thanks man! And yeah that was a good catch. If those tandems slammed against the bars it can pull the whole assembly off the trailer, under the right conditions. Like highway speeds and an emergency braking situation. Yikes, the thought of it makes me shudder. Why would you do that to someone, knowing the lives it could affect? Friggin psycho.
