Well Midwest Whse has officially became a joke.. They are now making us leave after get empty and cant check in till 15min prior to re load appt....yes I'm being serious. I let Opie know and he contacted sales to try to get something changed because this is bs. Hopefully they just change reload to only hr after our unload

I take 355 to 90 it dumps me above the airport. I reverse on the way south 90 to 355 It’s a faster then that BS this year in Chi town

Driving there when all you see is open land in all four directions all the way to the horizon and beyond. It really puts you into perspective and how small we and our problems are.
I loved that drive from Eau Claire.

 

Yes if can hit the O'Hare Airport area by or before 1:30 ish you'll have a fighting chance. Anything later just adds to the misery.
I regularly do a load to menomonee falls and back to Chicago/Indiana border, if I'm not out of there by noon I just prepare for a horse crap long ride
