I'm setting up all my 401k and medical stuff and have no idea if I'll even make any money on the road, haha!

I'm really bored! Can't wait to go out and start making some money instead of sitting around trying to enjoy my free-time and just being excited to drive.

 

I was about to say.... I got a safety bonus. You must've posted that before they sent out the message today.

 

Just out of curiosity: How long did it take between the day they announced the acquisition until you started seeing negative change?

 

Lol my phone hadnt even hit the seat when the Qualcomm went off. I was waiting for load info and the safety bonus message was mixed in. Timing couldn’t have been more perfect.

 

And on the bright side of things I am pretty sure I am going to have 3600 mile week. It started last week, but all the deliveries will be on this week.

The very first customer i went to, to pick up a preloaded trailer told me i was getting the last load they were loading for us because they would not use heartland. There were 8 other trailers loaded there that they were removing freight from.
For the 5 years i was at Gordon I would always stay out 4 weeks and go home for 5 days. I ran between 12k and 13k per month but the first 2 months after heartland started running operations which was about 6 weeks after the buyout i ran 7k each month so i left.
I knew a lot of people at gordon and not 1 single person is still there including management.

 

I will tell you guys this...
Heartland monitors social media and they have ways of identifying you.... They don't like it.

 

Maybe they should change their practices so there aren't so many negative things to say about them. Universally negative on multiple websites and platforms which tells me it is all true.
