Thanks man. There are so many good folks out here. I just wish everyone shared that perspective. Most do, and I would guess that it's at least 80%. The others should just not be here. This job is a brotherhood.

Thank you again @wprice0511. You are going to make a fantastic addition to this company, and it was great to see you again. I'm looking forward to seeing you in a Millis truck and hearing your experiences :)

I'm 40 and looking to follow one of my dreams and go to company truck driving school. I live just south of Madison, Wisconsin and from all I've researched the last few months, I really was deciding between Millis answer Roehl, but everything I've come up with it looks like Millis is the place I want to start. My first grandchild, a girl (of course I have 3 kids, all girls) is due to arrive at the end of January. I would like to start after that happens, is it too early to call the recruiter or is it better to wait? I've heard good things about Pegg you.
Any advice would be appreciated and I hope to join the Millis family.
    Stay safe everyone!

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Calling a recruiter is never a bad idea, they can answer all the questions you may have. It isn't too early to call, just let them know when you call that you aren't intending to attend until next year. It wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to wait a little longer. That way you aren't driving in snowy conditions right away after school.

Ya I'd prob just wait till closer to 1st of Dec unless you have specific questions you need answered right now to help make your decision.

Hey Keen98, have you started training yet? And if you have would you train someone from Cartersville? I start there in two weeks and just wondered if there was a chance you might be my trainer. Thanks

Hey Familydawg, keep me posted on how it goes. I filled out an app a few days ago, haven't heard back yet.Testing for permit this week hopefully. How long did it take for you to hear back when you filled out your app?

It took about three days for me to hear back but it was because my present job wouldn't return the information that they needed. Once they got it back they were very quick to get back with me. I hope you hear back soon. Im pretty excited to get going.
