Why would any of the yard dogs there need wito messth the landing gear? They all have hydraulic fifth wheels as far as I know.

Im not sure what you're asking yard dogs drop #### high at Miller, Bud, and everywhere else we pick up from all the time.

Im assuming thats a loaded trailer why would any of our guys drop a loaded trailer at Miller for you to pick up?

I’ve never seen a yard dog crank anything.

What I am saying is that the spotters with hydraulic fifth wheels don't usually have to touch the landing gear when moving a trailer. That's kind of the point of having them. So more than likely this trailer was dropped over at 69 Yard with the landing gear right like it was when I picked it up.

Little confused about today’s accident report. Albany to Trenton without the pin properly connected into fifth wheel, talk about lucky or the driver isn’t fessing to what really happened.

I am kinda thinking that's what Dan (or Kat) is implying.

One of our drivers just took off somebody's mirror at the Huck's in Kuttawa right before I walked across the street to get some steak. So that'll be in the next edition.

I mean he dropped the trailer and put the 5th wheel through it. Not sure what the Albany to Trenton part was about. Or like you like said, extremely lucky..until the end.

It doesn't sound like he meant to drop the trailer. No reason whatsoever to disconnect from a trailer to slide tandems. There's two subtly different meanings of "dropped trailer.". One means he meant to disconnect from it. The other means he didn't mean to.

Yeah just trying to figure that one out also. If you dropped the trailer that would mean your pulling away from it, not reversing underneath it.

Well I'd call this a productive day....551 miles for me and 661 for @packersfanmw87. Started our day at 3am in Ashtabula OH dropped in White Hall IL, went to Budweiser and here we are in BRF by 1130pm....what a 1st full week. 3600 when we get empty in Menomonee in the morning then its down to LaCrosse to grab load to Memphis for Monday...so add another 880ish miles to that 3600 and we will be home tomorrow by 3pm till Sunday at 2pm. Not bad at all, definitely makes up for the crap weekend we had last wk with 537 miles from Friday to Monday

    MIT and dwells40 Thank this.
