Sounds to me like he was shockingly only worried about himself getting in line and not caring about slowing the line down by not strapping and sliding after hooking up to the trailer like usual.

But hey I'm not a "YouTube sensation " so maybe I'm the 1 who's been doing it wrong for 4 yrs. You and @JOHNQPUBLIC should have offered to hop in there and strap his load for him. We cant be having our "YouTube star" doing such menial work like strapping beer loads.....

Bahahahaha he looked like he could use some exercise, though.

BTW that line was backed up all the way to the H row. I bet he's still in line. Meanwhile, I'm back at the yard, showered, and awaiting my food.

    JOHNQPUBLIC and dwells40 Thank this.

Thank goodness it was a piece of cake for me Saturday when I got that load going to Freehold. They need to figure out how to streamline that mess. I've never seen a line that long at Budweiser in Baldwinsville even with the added steps of having to come back down and get a bobtail weight.

Random question:. When you guys park overnight at a shipper or receiver before loading or unloading, do you put in your arrived call when you get there or do you wait until you get up in the morning? Or does it really make any difference? I know the detention clock doesn't start until appointment time but I have always been sending in my arrival macro when I get there just so they know without a doubt that I am there on the scene in advance. Plus it gives them a chance to start figuring out where I am going to go next.

That’s what I do the majority of time.

Also does anyone have a better way of getting out of Bud St Louis instead of taking that right into arsenal st?

    Yes.

Leave out the guard shack. 1st stop sign take a left. Then take a right onto Broadway(YRC yard should be to your right). Follow that road down until you see Taco Bell on the corner. Take a left at the lights then an immediate right turn(directly behind Taco Bell..its tight but not terrible). Follow that road straight and you are back onto 55N to Illinois.

Sorry for lack of street names I cant remember them right now. But this is the best way out of Budweiser by far.
