I always run over to 71 and take 75 down. Its the fastest way, and Millis has never said a word to me about the thruway tolls so why not go the fastest way?

 

By the way heres a lil tip for every one in case your trainer never told you to do this.

When you are dropping a load and you are told to put the bills in the nosebox, please put the bills in a ziplock baggie before leaving them in the nosebox. It really sucks picking up a trailer, and grabbing the bills from the nosebox and they are dripping wet from rain and snow. Just a little courtesy to the other drivers. Bills I grabbed from Pontoon Beach today were so fn wet they basically ripped just by touching them

 

Speaking of Pontoon Beach: Am I correct to assume that we are no longer using the E. Saint Louis yard since Heartland has that terminal there? Are we allowed to use the Heartland wash bays?

 

Yes we are no longer using East St Louis or Streator drop lots.

And yes we can use the wash bays at any Heartland terminal as many times per month that we want. Dont even have to get out of your truck at the 1 in Pontoon Beach. Pretty nice actually

 

Hmmm maybe Memphis really did have a New Years Resolution regarding efficiency. They are now open 24/7 every day of the week. So no more 7am Monday morn appt and not gettn a door till 7 45 because they all want to come in and BS about their weekend.

 

I guess dispatch read on here about how much I liked this Lithia Springs load that they had me deliver it twice today.

 

Saw several Millis trucks in Baltimore today. Also this Hagerstown pilot sucks, seems everyone decided to get fuel at the same moment.

 

I was just at the that piece of #### day before yesterday. Almost got into it with some Russian driver. Pulled in behind him because usually the oversize guys don't mess around Waited behind him for 15 minutes. Walked up to his truck and said something to him and he starts cussing and yelling about how he has to get cleared before he can fuel and blah blah blah. Can't he do that #### somewhere else besides the fuel Island? Sheesh.

 

Speaking of routes taken, how do you go from Burleson to Trenton? Do you stay on 40 through Nashville or do you head up 55 in Memphis to 155 and head over to Louisville?

 

30 to Little Rock. Grab 40 follow it to Nashville then 65 to Louisville then grab 71 up to 75 and then pick whatever #### way you prefer to get to the terminal lol
