Yeah, St cloud at least unloads and reloads same door, but man, they made Midwest seem fast.

 

Hope springs eternal.

 

Shoot idk what the problem is....appt at 6am in Memphis we got here 0530 unloaded and reloaded by 645 lmao....

Basically Midwest Warehouse is like a box of chocolates....you never fn know what you're going to get lol

 

Boy ain't that the truth?

 

Honestly I think thats the most frustrating thing about the place. I mean if you know a place always takes forever at least you're halfway mentally prepared for it when you're there 5 6 7hrs. But the fact that at Midwest you never fn know is just so #### irritating. I mean my and packersfan both had 6am appointments and both checked in within 5mins of each other. Yet I left at 645 and he didn't get done till 930.....WHY its 20pallets off my truck just like his, and its 20 pallets back on mine just like his lol.

Hell the guy who loaded me today even strapped our load for us! I walked to the back and was like damnnnn man thanks for strapping it, and hes like "hey its 645 and I'm off at 7am I didnt wanna have to wait for you to strap it".....ohhhhh so when you're trying to get out of there and go home you can load a truck in 15mins but during the beginning and middle of your shift you just dont give a #### right??? So irritating

 

And you guys got in your unload door first, but I was unloaded first. So strange

 

I got to Heidelberg Dist in Perrysburg at 10:15 for my 11:00 appointment. Guy said to put it in the dock next to the wall, then the 10 appt guy came in, so he said to dock after that guy left. He leaves around 11:15, I open my doors and get my straps and some other driver steals my door. I wonder if he was supposed to be after me? Oh well. Dispatch had to find another home load. Then I get in the door and it is lunch break. Oh well. I think I lost a few miles between the two pre plans but I can be home by 9 in the morning tomorrow depending how early I want to get going. So whatever.

 

My gripe of the day: Companies that don't let you know when they're done loading or unloading you.

I got kicked out of the triangle today. After delivering in Rochester, I reloaded at C&M Forwarding. No lights on the dock to turn green and nobody knocking on my door with my BOL. After the truck hadn't moved in quite awhile so finally went back and saw that the door was closed and the plate was down, went inside and sure enough all I had to do was sign and leave.

 

Well I've had enough of St Cloud. Pretty sure when we deliver in Memphis Monday I'm asking Opie to let us drop it somewhere and get off this run. Appointment 6am check in at 5am and once again still not in a fn door. Ridiculous

 

But but but we're supposed to love running the triangle!
