Wassup Truckerland. Greetings once again from Sturtevant WI. How are y'all doing tonight? I am good and whooped. I got a little sleep last night, but not much to speak of. I was finally unloaded around 3:15 this morning. As soon as I had my bills, I logged into the Qualcomm and started my day. Might as well. I started heading towards the first of two loads Opie lined up for me. I had a pickup at the JC Penney DC in Columbus. This load isn't due until next Tuesday, so Opie is having me drop it in West Allis for now. I am then picking up a beer load there and running it to Glenwillow Ohio. That load is due Monday morning. So now, I have a chance to reclaim the home visit I lost last night. I'm 30 minutes from West Allis now, and home is about 9 hours from there. So as long as things go smoothly, I'll get to see Mrs. Junkie tomorrow :D Seeing as how it'll be Sunday, I don't imagine I'll have any issues with traffic. I'm also starting early, so I should be able to completely eliminate any issues near Milwaukee, and almost all issues around Chicago. After that it's a breeze. Mama is definitely excited, especially after being let down last night. I put in a decent day today in order to make it all happen, and racked up 600 miles. I could possibly have made it to the drop yard tonight, but I needed to stop off for a shower. Sometimes, those just can't wait. I'm looking forward to that extra hour of sleep tonight after last night's dismal crop of sawn logs. Don't forget to set your clocks back tonight, everyone. Well, I don't really have much else to report, so I believe I'm gonna sign off. Talk to you guys tomorrow. Until then, peace. Have a good night, my friends.

Thanks brother. It's like my buddy always says... Days are like roads. Without the rough ones, the smooth ones go unappreciated.

Hey y'all, greetings from home. If I said that my ride was a good one, I'd be understating it a bit. Getting in and out of West Allis was a breeze. As it should be at 3am on a Sunday lol. Milwaukee traffic was non-existent, and the traffic around Chicago was so light it was almost surreal. As a bonus, it looks like Ohio is finally cleaning up their construction zones on 80. They've been done for a while, but they still had barrels and 50mph signs set up for several really long stretches. A couple of those stretches are finally gone. I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist when it comes to that. I'm convinced that they leave those up for speed traps. Ohio plays dirty like that. I'm a good boy though, I just let everyone fly by and become my bear bait. The only bad thing about driving on Sundays is of course the Sunday drivers. Idiot 4 wheelers that take 10 minutes to pass you while traffic builds up behind them. Then they jump in front of you and slow down. Some a-hole in a Prius did that to me twice. Which means I had to pass him again twice. He started to do it a third time. When he started coming over again I laid on my horn. He magically found his gas pedal, and I never saw him again. Gotta love old people. Some people just shouldn't be driving anymore once they retire. But, that's a subject for another thread. Wifey isn't home yet, so I went out for what is a locally legendary grilled chicken salad and a couple barley pops. Leisure waits on no man. Or woman, in this case. Tick tock, man, my clock keeps moving. Well guys, I'm gonna finish up the magical salad and get outta here. Mrs Junkie will be home shortly. Hope y'all are doing well. Be safe out there. Keep the rubber side down and check your pins. Peace guys.

Thank you, sir :D It'll be brief, but it's always worth it. I'm one of the rare married truckers out there that actually enjoys being married. Seeing mama is good for the soul.

'Morning everyone. I'm at my final. I've been wanting to post about this place for a while but I keep forgetting. I'm at Superior Beverage in Glenwillow Ohio (Solon Ohio). If you've never been here before, make sure you read the driver-submitted directions. Follow them exactly. There are a few restricted roads around here, so keep your eyes peeled for the signs. It's very easy to get in trouble around here. Awesome customer, by the way. The dock area is very roomy, plenty of room to maneuver. Awesome staff as well, very friendly folks. Give yourself some extra time getting here if you are coming around rush hour like I just did. It took me 90 minutes to go 45 miles. Unbelievable. Cleveland traffic is very much on par with a much larger city. My friend John has to commute from where I live to this area every day, and he is constantly bemoaning the traffic. I have no idea why it's so bad. Cleveland isn't big enough to warrant these types of delays. It's pretty unbelievable. I was a little early this morning, but it was close. This area is a mess. That's it for now, talk at y'all later. Enjoy your day, and be safe out there.
