I must say I am pleased to have gotten the chance to personally speak with a Millis driver today( emt 3508) thank you for your time. I believe with a few of the questions I had for him and the answers he gave eased my nervousness some. I do believe I have made the right choice to go with Millis. If any of you other guys are considering taking this step in pursuing this career, as I see it don't be afraid or hesitate to ask these guys questions and if you get the opportunity to actually speak with one of these drivers do so. Again thank you emt3508 for your time.

 

Update #1........ DOT Physical complete, good for 2yrs. Faxed required documents to Ellen, DOT card and long form, and copy of CDL permit. Now I just need to gather the rest of my necessities together for class. As of now I was told there are 2 other people besides myself scheduled to start January 14th.

 

I'll be looking forward to talking and getting to know you. Will be good to settle the nerves some by already have been introduced to another classmate/coworker.

 

Getting a feel of a truckers life this week, a close friend invited me to run otr this week with him to settle my nerves some. May get to get a feel of driving sometime also. On our way now to Leland Mississippi.

 

Update #1: 1 day left before my departure from home. Been packing all week, I know I'll forget something, lol. Called Wednesday to double check everything was a go to start school Monday January 14th, what a birthday present, were all good. Just got off the phone with super 8 to confirm registration and make sure what time check in is, good there. Now to pack the car. Nerves are starting to kick in. Excited to start this new adventure.
