The hotel is not included in the tuition...if you stay in the hotel, it is $10 a pay check until paid off.
Hey Solo, just to let you know since you have kept up with me, I finally found somewhere to go. Frost Trucking in Tunnel Hill, Ga. Looking to start on the 10th of this month. It atleast a start. My ticket finally drop and the one I'm contesting they said it wouldn't matter anyway.
in the Texas school the hotel is not included and is 50 bucks a night stayed and payroll deducted once working or billed with 18% if you dont stay.
I got my DOT physical, learners permit, and have applied to the school online last Wednesday. I called on Friday and spoke with a recruiter (Alice, I think) who said they are verifying my employment, and I should hear from them sometime this week. Hopefully this is a good thing.
I forgot that I'm the one who started this thread.... Anyway, my application was accepted yesterday, and I'm set to start July 7th in Cartersville. Had some issues verifying my employment at one job I had, but it got squared away. Paid my dues today, and all that's left is to wait. Also an update to the question I had about the lodging for anyone else who might be reading; its deducted at $20 per check now, depending on how many nights you stay, in addition to the $20 for tuition
Anybody know how long it takes before you get your first paycheck? .. Also how long do you have to be with a trainer?
