If you live close enough to Cartersville and decide to go home on the weekend call and let Millis know or you will be charged for the room regardless if you stay in the room or not. Let the people at the hotel know as well as Millis.
I got my first paycheck the next tue after I started training but it was only for the mon of the previous week
So that means I won't have to get stuck with another smelly and snoring room mate? I can live with that..
One last update, I'm not gonna do a day by day recap, since there are several other threads like that for Millis on here, and so far they have been spot on. One big difference is we only have three students in this class. It's great because we've been getting a lot of drive time. All three of us are making good progress, and we all get along with each other and the instructor. So far so good. If anyone has questions about the school/company and can't find an answer through a recruiter, current/former driver, search bar, etc... feel free to post a reply to this thread or a PM and I'll try to help you out as good as I can
Just an FYI: advised by Millis this morning that they only hire folks from states east of the mississippi river. Anybody know if this is a true fact, or......? Thanks.
They have a school in Burleson, TX . It could be that they don't have freight going to/from Colorado.
I tried to apply when I lived in New Mexico but they wouldn't accept my application, then I moved to Georgia with no problems applying. But like powerstroke7.3 said they do have a terminal in TX. I guess NM was too far west for them.
