Yes, I had already kind of gotten to know him a little and hated hearing that. The new guy seems pretty outgoing and for me being more reserved at first that should do us pretty well. We talked for about a half hour today and I'm still excited and looking forward to it.

I have found a place to park the truck and trailer about 2 minutes down the road at a tire center. The owner said it would be fine as long as I dont hit the fence. I plan on writing out a statement for him to sign just to have the permission in writing and give him $20 each time I park there for hometime even though he said I could for free.
Waterboy334 and Broke Down 69 Thank this. -

A little update on my situation. Right now I am at the hotel in Cartersville, GA awaiting my new trainer to pick me up Monday morning. I'm not going to post too much details on the situation with my other trainer. I will just say there was a BIG difference in personalities. I didn't want to be that guy but I just couldn't handle it anymore. My safety and CDL are more important than that guy and the way he handles himself.
I'm getting some laundry done now and just clearing my head and ready to GO! I only drove 2.5 days of the 5 we were out and got in 2 500 mile days and a 250 mile day the first day. Take CareSHOJim and Broke Down 69 Thank this. -
You arent the 1st and you wont he the last trainee to switch trainers. Dont think anything about it, its no big deal. Some guys just dont match up. Only drove 2.5 days out of the 5? Thats bs. You should been driving for as long as you could handle and then buildin up your stamina. Hopefully your new trainer is better.SESteve83, Broke Down 69 and Suspect Zero Thank this.

I'm glad you had the backbone to do that. Some people don't, and it could end up keeping them from learning the ropes like you are supposed to and getting the CDL they have already spent this money on trying to get. I hope your next trainer does right by you.
SESteve83 Thanks this. -
Anyone know what the requirement is for wait time for an experienced ex Millis driver hiring back on with Millis who wants to train? Im thinking cant just get hired on and start training no matter the amount of experience you have.

Seems as though I've heard 90 days before but do not quote me. I might be confusing that with something else.

Perhaps the thing to do is just call them and ask.
