If you are apparently this obsessed with Millis and your experience with them, call Bill. I'll give you his number. He told Greg that he would re-accept both of my classmates that bailed. No reason he wouldn't vouch for you. All you have to do is make the effort. Not really sure why you are not doing that now.

Seriously, man, what is your deal? If you want to be here so bad that you are commenting on every single Millis post, why aren't you here?

Great way to come back into a company you are clearly obsessed with. You do know that there are employees, drivers, and family that watch these posts, right? I wouldn't give a bucket of piss for your future here if you were allowed back. Nice job making yourself look like an idiot. Please feel free to stop commenting on my posts.

Wow I didn't mean to upset you.
As far as coming back I have talked to Mark and Dan and both of them sais that they do now rehire people who left during on the road training. Had I left during classroom portion that would have been different.
Perry is a good guy and really pushes the miles he is just a character is all. As far as them changing their tune, we asked Bill in class if the trainers would be getting Automatics. He said "No because Millis knows they are a training company and they want their students to have full CDL with out restrictions..
I apologize and wish you the best.

You do you. I'll do me. As far as everyone here is concerned I'm already part of the fold. I get treated like family every day, and I am not technically family yet. I will defend them, because of who they are and what they represent.

Backing, backing, backing. That's what I did today. Alley dock still needs a little work but good on everything else. So...to all future folks reading this post...Here's the deal with Wisconsin testing. I mentioned it in a previous post because I am in Ohio and most of the guys here test in Wisconsin. It is more expensive, it is farther away from you, but...go there. I talked to a driver trainer today and he gave me a breakdown of what happens there. In Ohio, you will have to do a parallel park and you do not get to choose which side. Parallel maneuver DOES NOT EXIST on the Wisconsin test. And again, if you test there, it is valid in Ohio. So for Wisconsin you have to do a straight-line back. Are you kidding me? Ohio doesn't do that. Easiest maneuver possible. Offside lane change. Again, super easy. Then a 90 degree alley dock, sight side. That alone is worth the trip. Those tests are not random. That's what they do every single time. Also....the pre-trip is a random draw. You have a 25% chance of getting a full inspection. The other 75% draw will just be a portion of the truck, and it isn't timed. I'll say that again....it isn't timed. If you are reading this post and considering Millis, take this advice that I have been ģiven from literally EVERYONE, go to Wisconsin. Tomorrow I am doing the infamous dollar donut run. Twice. Because I am now the only student left in this class, I will be doing both runs by myself. It will total about 360 miles. That's awesome. Nervous as hell but the road work has to happen eventually. More updates coming tomorrow.

Oh, by the way...I thought I should mention this because of posts I have read on another trucking site regarding Millis. I have talked to 4 driver trainers and at least 10 drivers about this topic. Winter slowdowns. Slowdowns are something that happens with any company. For some reason though, I saw a lot of complaints from ex-drivers about Millis. Here is what I was told, and every single person has said the same thing. If you want to run hard, they will run you hard. If you want 3k miles a week, you'll get it. If you are used to experiencing 3k, you might drop to 2.5k in a slow spot. Honestly that doesn't even sound bad, that sounds awesome. So, take everything you read with a grain of salt. Plus, from what I've been told, the miles will still be there in the slow times. If you are willing to take the runs that the more experienced drivers normally run when the weather conditions aren't so extreme. I call that suicide but there are young bucks willing to do it.
