well you can still run, but the days of just hooking up and throwing the ,logbook into the sleeper and forgetting aabout are over. , plan on either going back to my old company which had blue cross/blue shield and better long distance runs, or staying here and getting my own insurance plan.
as for the bulkheads, on miller loads, most of the trailers have moveable bulkheads, which are 2 loads bars that lock into e-tracks, and boards that are place between them and the front of that load, which means be careful with hard braking or you wind up spilling the beer, thus commiting cardinal sin: "thou shalt not spilleth thy beer". -
well, just got a call from my old company, so im going back there, nice that they still have blue cross/blue shield, and still have the same consistant freight, and better trailers, plus, they already have the electronic logging, and its on a better system than crapcomm, plus thier safety rating is a hell of a lot better.
millis is great for a student to start out with, but thats the only thing these training companies are good for. -

i know what ya mean about the bulkheads. i bent 2 bars and got the boot. know what the kicker is? the guy that had the accident in NY was on both of the safety appeal boards for me.

I'm just sayin.............. -
I saw loads that had shifted from hard breaking. Kegs are the worst. If you brake hard it is a judgment call as to whether it was due to speed or following too close. I knew Millis to be quite forgiving to a lot of guys but they never forgive following too close.
Miller has gone to using the solid plastic bulkhead system but still uses the Millis system on the trailers that have them. As for load locks in the back, I think they are worthless. Straps are good but no matter what, kegs can fall just from the road conditions. I never heard of or saw a load that shifter to the rear. -
Ok disregard. I just found out through some phone calls. High deductible plan. $3000 before your 80/20 kicks in. For me, family of 5 $81/wk. Guess I'll be tellin the wife to keep her plan, lol.
