The problem is that if you narrow your parameters to local non-refer driving you will still have OTR recruiters calling & texting you. Even the refer outfits. I think these application feeders sell your info even after you find work. 6mo post hire I had 159 emails last month from OTR recruiters .Trying to un-subscribe will cut some down, then others pop up. I even get voicemails of some recruiters reading a script .
Not just trucking companies will get your application. Every piece rate recruiting agency in somebody's den will have it as well.

I was able to block carriers on the app. I didn't hear from the ones I blocked.

 

Thanks for your family's service. DOT regs require ten continuous years work history. If you collected unemployment or took any kind of family leave during that time, the accompanying paperwork should suffice and meet the DOT requirements.
