I always found it a mixed bag on the shops, some mechanics go the extra bit and some don't. I would say at least 95% of all work I ever had done was by KW or Cummins, since the trucks where warranty. Weedsport never let me down as far as working on the trucks go, would try to get any work done there that I could, wasn't always the easiest place to get to sometimes.
i had a millis t2000 till about 525k mi... no complaints.. pulled good.. everything worked. we haul heavy but they always kept up on services
Mine was set at 66.. but would pull 68 if the engine sensed a load. im guessing if you bought the truck it would be ungoverned. i dont remember my exact mpgs.. but It would stay between 5.8 and 7mpg.. but remember we mostly haul beer that is 45k lbs.. and alot of that is into the hills and east coast so that had a factor on mileage.
It was a 2010 T2000, only major issue I ever had was had a turbo blow up on it, but KW fixed that, then Cummins fixed KW screw up. Ran like a champ both before and after the turbo issue. Never had any other issues that I can think of out of it.
