Nice! So you'll be right in Millis's travel zone. I saw where they liked to hire between St. Louis, Cincinnatti, and Wisconsin. I'm almost dead center of that. lol Not much to say about Danville, IL other than we use to have a GM plant lol. Take care mister and enjoy your weekend, I'll b working mine.

We've all been there - trust me. Stay the course and it will happen.

Dropped in Saratoga Springs, did a little run around looking for an MT. Found one at Stewarts and Tandem mechanism was broken. Took a 10 and called for service.Stopped by the Weedsport Terminal for a quick shower. That Terminal is very nice. I would say second only to BRF. Headed to Owens Brockway in Auburn. Drop and hook and headed for Albany Georgia. Sitting in Cartersville finishing a 10 now. I set a new personal best yesterday of 638 miles. I still had an hour left on my 11! Enjoying the ride!

Sounds good Mojo, glad your running some good miles! Keep it up, I'll keep reading, lol

Dropped the trailer in the Albany Georgia yard picked up an MT and Dropped and hook in Cedar Springs Georgia and ran it up to East ST Louis. Another 600 mile day although not a record setter. Grabbed an MT at Unilever. Taking a 10 at the Flying J across the street. Headed for Effingham Illinois after the break. Taking that one to Pa. Gonna drop that load at Lapelle and pick up an MT to take my CDL test on Thursday morning. After the test in Indy back to Lapelle and off to Pa. I would like to give a shout out to Sheff63 from my class he will be testing out into his own truck at the end of the week. GREAT JOB MIKE! WOO HOO!

Good luck on the test Thursday, I'm sure you'll do fine!

This is a post that I have been looking forward to writing. I PASSED! WOOHOO! In my opinion it did not go nearly as smooth as my last attempt. The parallel park was a challenge this time around. I used all of my GOAL's and a couple of pull ups with an encroachment thrown in. The driving portion I did not feel that I was as smooth as my last go around. I used more points in the parking exercises yet had less points against me in the driving portion. The examiner said "I seemed as nervous as a long tailed cat in aroom full of rocking chairs". I am not generally the nervous sort but I must admit the "nerves" were there.
I will be testing out for my own truck next week. I am looking forward to it and yet will miss my Trainer{a little bit}lol! Training has been everything I had hoped for. I feel well armed with the basics to do the job. Training was not all fun and games there were tense times as "men will be men" but it was always an educational experience. I have forged a bond with my Trainer that will keep us in touch in the future.
The time nears that I hold up my end of the bargain by becoming an asset to Millis and the truck driving profession as a whole. I fully intend to do just that.Boomer 1 Thanks this. -
CONGRATS!!!!!!
, I'm a long way from that but a nervous wreck already! Do not forget to stop in and see me in Jan. Shoot us a pic of your very OWN truck when you get her.
