Sounds great Bear! I hooked up with Sheff63 for lunch yesterday on 65 at the Remington exit. I destroyed that buffet! I ran 568 miles yesterday, Wisconsin to Trenton. Back up in Rockford Illinois tonight for a 6am drop.
I shot the gap in Chicago this afternoon, very interesting. I probably wont do that again. I am from the Los Angeles area so I am used to traffic but I will probably stay with the rat race around 294. I still managed just less than 400 today. Sitting at a TA on 90 tonight. I sure am looking forward to an inverter so I can do the rest area thing, gotta have my coffee, ya know! Friday I had 3 loads and my 14 ran out just as I picked up my third. I parked in the street and had a "cold camp" so to speak. They worked on my radiator when I first picked up my truck but I have one hose still leaking, I am going to see what to do about that tomarrow with dispatch. It is not stopping me but it is an inconvenience. I am pretty excited about tomarrow to see how my first week shakes out for miles.

Yea I stay away from the gap unless its like 2-4 a.m. Awesome you finished your first week. I'm sure you'll feel alot better with the money situation.

I spent the night at a TA and put the truck in at about 4am{no waiting}. It wasn"t the hose it was the control valve the hose was hooked to. TA didn"t have the part. So I dropped my load at the receiver and went to Kenworth. It took about 3 hours and I hit Mac 4. I caught a load to Columbus, Ohio. The route took me right by my house so I took my 10 at home
. WooHoo, I got to hang out with the wifey and daughter for a minute. 4am on my way to Columbus, dropped and was sent to Trenton to pick up. Tonight I am sitting at a Flying J on 65 just north of Indy. My load goes to a Chicago suburb. Delivery Time is 2pm but the word from the guys in Trenton is they will take it early. So I will sleep in tomarrow and roll at 4:30am. That will put me there at 6:30am. I really like the roll early stop early thing.
I am really up against my 70 though, I should have about 9 available tomarrow and then I get 11 back the following day. I saw the Fishman from my class today, he is in his own truck. I also saw Baritone,Bear and GTown.
I got a text from Ice blue from my class. He got his CDL today!
WAY TO GO ICE!!
A word to the wise if you are from NY state. The waiting to take your test is 3 or 4 weeks at least. GTown takes his test tomarrow, everybody pull for him! I know how he feels.

Thanks for the update Mojo, I enjoy reading them! Keep up the good work!

Thanks MoJo for all the support. I made papa proud and passed my CDL test. What a load off my mind getting that out of the way. Now I just need to run hard and test out into my own truck. I'm like you, in that I have enjoyed the ups and downs of being in a training truck, but look forward to being in my own truck. Congrats to Ice Blue on passing his CDL.MojoPotatoe Thanks this.

Sitting in line at the Beacon at the flying J off 90 in Gary. The line is 4 deep with only 1 bay washing. Looks like about an 1 1/2 hr wait(45mins so far) but I am on my way home and I want to be shiny. It is a salty mess right now. I requested 4 days starting Christmas eve but it looks like I am going to get a couple of extra days. I dropped and picked up just outside Eau Claire and ran all night to get here. My load goes to Hartford Ct due on Friday. Finally the east coast! New and exciting places for me. My last load was 48900. Heaviest I have carried so far. Those Miller guys are not afraid to load 'em. The 660 pulls like a mule! Errr, I think thats good? lol. Life is good this is Load #10! I will post pics during hometime. Happy Holidays Everyone!

I hauled 50,000 worth of cat food last week. My regional truck was within 1000 lbs of max gross. These light Freighliners can scale a 51,000 lb load, and Miller does like to try and meet that limit.

Don't blame Miller lol they can't keep up with everybody sucking it down likes it's water lol. -
I don't blame them! They definitely keep me running. AB breweries will send you back for another pallet if you scale out too light.
