Heya Whitey, No we unloaded at Mead and came over to the West side Petro. Did the side street boogie to get here. All I can say is tight tight, tight! This place is huge! Been here all day, Dispatch says no loads available. My Trainer had me drive around the parking lot and he picked different slots for me to back into, alot of fun and great experience. My Trainer is in "training mode" 24/7. I couldn't ask for a better one.

Oh ok...never delivered to Mead actually....I tend to stay away from that area your in now...have been a lot of truck thefts, shootings, etc in that particular area..just a heads up..Keep the doors locked....don't suprised if you get some knocks throughout the night!!!! Be safe and continue the good work!!

I can definately see what you mean Whitey, The side street scramble to get here was through some very economically depressed areas. This is one of those gated pay to stay truckstops. Lots of security around, which is not suprising. Anyways very quiet night and good sleep. Couldn't find a postcard in the truckstop to send my daughter. Well rested and looking forward to the QC saying 3 new messages.

It's been awhile since iv stopped at that Petrol... They didn't have security and all back when I was there.....sad that it has come to that but it is what it is...glad to hear it was a good night for Yall with out any disturbances. Best of luck to Yall on your next load assignment!! Be safe!!

I agree - I stay away from that area also. But having two in the truck would make it better I guess.
Glad things are going well. Hope we can run into each other soon! Good luck on the 14th. -
Got a load out of Atlanta, 2 stop pickup, Chatsworth/Orion and Dalton/Mohawk. Mohawk took about 6 hours to load. Ended up taking our 10 in Ringgold,Ga. Very scenic drive down 411 to Chatsworth. Headed to Eau Claire for final. Hoping we get the T700 back so I have a couple days to reaquaint myself for the CDL on Monday, 2 of the other students from my class have attempted their tests. I understand that first try passing is not exactly par for the course. But at 100$ a pop and loss of mileage for my trainer I definately have motivation. I still say that I really enjoy the T2000 but my Trainer thinks it would be better to test in the T700. If this truck is still avaliable when and if my moment comes I would enjoy having it as my first truck. Thanks for the encouragement Baritone!

We stopped in BRF on the way to Eau Claire as the T700 was repaired. On our way to Carlisle, Pa. Dispatch asked to reschedule my CDL test to Wednesday. So it is now the 16th. Saw Darkknight in the drivers lounge in BRF, did some laundry and shot the breeze. Checked out his new truck, very nice! It's nice to have all the ammenities back in the T7. I got to drive in my first snow, slow and steady.

My Trainer had hometime last weekend so I went home also. I keep my personal vehicle at his house as he goes home every other weekend. He lives 180 miles from me so its better than sitting in the truck at a truckstop. Dropped our Eau Clair load and got a load to Mcoole Maryland. Then ran back to Beaver Dam and Green Bay and headed to Cherokee Alabama on our way back to Hammond Indiana. Really racking up the miles. I drove 627 during my 11 today! That is a personal best. Cdl got rescheduled again for Monday the 21st of November. I really think it will happen this time. I must say that I am full of confidence at this point. I just finished week 4 of training and my Trainer is talking about the 8th or 10th of December to test out. They like to get a couple of weeks with you after you get your CDL to really run some miles. All in all everything is running smooth. I am enjoying the road and looking forward to my next step. I saw Finally Truckin today at SCA in Cherokee. I am doing a 10 at exit 61 TA on 65 outside of Nashville right now. Gonna grab some sleep as we are gonna roll about midnight. Most of my driving has been night time. Probably not my favorite hours of driving if I had a choice, but someone has to run at night and you have to prove yourself in every facet to your Trainer. Congrats to Sheff for acing his CDL test! Be safe and have fun!

wow, he's got you driving the midnight shift, do all millis trainers do that or just him, wheres this petro truck stop thats gated near or at mead, town and state, thanks

It was nice running into u too, man it all went down hill for us after we seen u. We had to go to decatur at the meow mix plant, and let me tell u that place is crazy to say the least, then while we were on Nashville on I24 in rush hour and noticed the engine light on so we stoppped at a rest stop in clarksville, ky and our fuel rail pressure is bad. It doesn't say wheather it not its high or low, and 2 days ago we picked up a trailer with a bad air chamber, at lowes in statesville, nc sat on a entrance ramp for 4 hours then we headed to a glass plant down the road I can't remember the city its in off hand but if u been there u know what and where it is cause it takes about 2.5 hours to get dispatched to the docks and another 2 to get loaded. All in all minus the delays things are going good. Well that's it for me everyone run hard be safe. KEEP IT BETWEEN THE DITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
