Its up to trainer/student but if you think about it there's a lot less traffic and therefore safer/easier in the aspect of 4wheelers and their dumb antics.

Hey Finally Truckin, We had the same problem with the fuel pressure indicator on the diagnostic screen. Truck ran fine, we took a 10, woke up and it was gone. Good to go! Have you seen the blinking lights on the dash yet? I heard thats been a common problem with them also. I sure do like the T7's though. On our way to Plano to pick up a load headed to Indy. Yep dispatch is getting us to Indy for my Cdl test on Monday! I better pass this thing because my Trainer had one hella week for miles going. We are right at 2750 now.

Good luck with ur cdl test, hope the miles pick up

Mojo and sully, we took the truck to the kenworth dealer up in wisconsin and they and my trainer both think it was the Qualcomm update that messed things up. During our down time we ran into whitey had dinner and talked and laughed about the crazy things Bill does and says. But glad to hear its going good for u and good luck on your cdl test.

Hey - good luck Monday and let us know how it goes!

I made it to my CDL test. FAIL. Passed pretrip, passed brake test, passed straight line, passed offset, failed parallel park on points. Encroachments were the death of me. I was in and was swinging the nose of the tractor in when the instructor called the test. He called encroachment on the rear corner of the trailer on the back side line. I can't describe the feeling. I could say a bunch of things about this test but it would not change the result. I will retest on tuesday as it is the earliest open date. I have considered going to a different testing location also but I think that since that place has flunked me once perhaps the second time will be a more fair chance. I have been told it was a money game and do not expect to pass the first time but I felt very prepared and confident. I will not be practicing anything for the next test but I will approach it differently. I will take it defensively and smarter. I tested in Indianapolis at C1 they are a school/cdl test site. They are tough. I will point out that I went to school in Trenton and as you all know we are taught precisely how to nail the maneuvers. I also practiced for 2 solid days prior to the test. The course is not the same size at C1 and the formulas did not work for the offset. The parallel you begin with your rear bumper even with the front end of the parking space. Not complaining , just saying. I failed and noone to blame but myself. I am down but not out!

Sorry to hear about that, you'll nail it next time! (The amount of people that fail the first time you do tend to wonder if it's money related? Which is bad for me NC is broke so the Governor has said LOL) Have a good Thanksgiving.

Sorry.to hear that, it bites ....but good luck next go round

Mojo - dont worry, I failed my first time also. I did everything except failed the air brake test. I so know that feeling a failure. It's ok - you'll ace it next time as you know what needs to be corrected. No matter what you're taught in school - you have to do it their way.
I went back 1 week later and aced it as you will also. Stay strong my friend!
