The 20 dollars is paid for 100 weeks, obviously if you leave millis after your one year you would still be liable for x amount of weeks
Does that make sense -
ok, here is how it works. you only pay for the the first year. 52 weeks. if you do the one year contract with no problems, then they wave the rest of the cost. The way Millis looks at it they want someone to go for at least one year, gives them longevity. after that if they want to leave then it's up the them. most stay cause Millis has a tendancy to treat you right, just some of the dispatchers are kinda querky.

should your log book be up to date at all time?
Thanks,

But by the contract, your only required to drive for millis for one year.
So if i were to leave on my anniversary date (1year from hire date) they would not require me to pay back the additional 48 weeks left on the prommisary note ?
Maybe when you went through they did it different or did they tell you this later ? TIA -
Well jdsgungho, how'd your first week at MTI go?
-
I signed on October of last year, so it could have changed.

The one year contract is to satisfy the on the job training you get when you go out with a trainer. Which is completely seperate from the three weeks of school. You can pay off the whole 2500 for the school on the first day if you wanted to however you'd still owe Millis a year of employment. The only time the additional 2500 comes into play is if you leave before the one year is up.

last week was mostly class, then the millis 500 and friday was straightline backing.
Had the weekend off and back at it today, today was alley docking and parallel parking along with drop and hook and more straightline.
The class is very fast paced and you need to pay attention, this week is long 10 hour days with pre trips at 6am, logbooks, and then out on the range (practice ,practice, practice) its been great and there are 7 of us, everyone is doing good, just trying to soak it all in!
I will write some more as we progress!
