Spanky, I just got assigned a different truck. the t2000 I had had almost 540,000 so they are going to do an overhaul and give it to a student. I got one of the t-600's with the tri-pack. It's sweet.

hey all.. it's been 5 weeks since i've been on here! wow! lol.. Just got done with my trainer and was out the entire 5 weeks.. i'll test out for my truck after the holidays. Anyhow, I was in a T2000 almost the entire time, but we did get put into a 660 for a day until the trainer traded trucks with another guy. Just my thoughts on the 660.. Like spanky said, they do ride better and they are quieter and the headlights are awesome! The upper bunk (from a student's standpoint) is MUCH better and I liked the open storage above the compartments in the back. I didn't like that it didn't have the overhead storage in the driver compartment and it doesn't have a closet. I HATED the brake pedal, but i'm sure you get used to it. Other than that, I wouldn't mind having a 660. Anyhow, just thought i'd put my $.02 in hehe.. Have fun out there drivers and be safe!

Hey blown02Gt.....from the looks of your last post I will be going out with your old trainer next week. I just finished school in Trenton and I know we talked in the drivers lounge when you and Norm were switching trucks. He actually just called me to set up a time to meet up next week. I am very excited. He seems like a good guy and very laid back. Hope that will make my learning experience all the better. Good luck on your test out after the holidays.

Yep, that would be me lol.. Good luck man.. it seems like forever, but once it is over, it seems like you were never out. Pay attention to your signs and if the weather gets bad or you get tired, park the truck! you'll do fine. Good luck and have a Merry Christmas!
