that's good they get you the miles it's a tough decision choosing what company to pick all three are goood...
Very yrue, I was in the same position. I got my CDL theough millis which in my opinion has a great training program. I went with millis because I couldn't find a bad review on people seemed happy. Can't speak on the others but I've read about freymiller and they have the coast to coast runs which I would love lol
Well with millis we only run out east for the most part... If you've never driven the northeast you'll know if you do run it when you come out.. it's not terrible, but there are a lot of drivers that will not run it.
It's all up to you, us and freymiller both have great equipment from what I've seen. I think they run peterbilt 579's if I'm not mistaken
I'll be away from home and family so want to be close to it with a good company and not just a truck number
The Millis recruiter told me she would not proceed with my application because I told her the only thing I'll do with a trailer besides D and H is sweep it out. She said we are required to load and unload sometimes. If it's not true you might want to educate your own recruiters. According to this website it says no-touch-freight "varies" Millis Transfer: CDL-A Drivers - Excellent Sign On! $1200+/week & Home Every Weekend!
Well if you told her you'll only drop and hook she probably meant there are live load and unload sometimes. It's not 100 percent d/h.
No she knew what I meant. She didn't say anything about live load and unload, she said you'll be required to unload and load sometimes. If it IS 100% no touch freight, why doesn't their website say that? That's a huge recruiting bonus for a driver, why leave that out? Millis Tranfer Inc. - Getting It There Since 1936 She also told me no animals allowed. That did it for me. My dog comes with me or I don't work for ya. Simple as that.
