minimum pay guarantee

My company has guarantee minimum pay of $1,000 a week. I get paid $0.48 cents per mile. If I drive good miles I get 0.48 cpm for all miles driven. If the truck breaks down or something go wrong I get at least $1,000.

It puts the pressure on dispatch to keep the miles up, because I'm getting $1,000 no matter what.

 

I found out dispatch is pretty smart and they always has a load for me. We basically have to work 14 hours days and do a 34 hour reset every weekend at home or on the road. I'm just saying working 70 hours in 6 days can get old, but I'm making money and don't every worry about getting paid.
