So you're saying you were basically working for $7.50/hr? Or did I misread that?

Exactly... Not sure who's promising 15 bucks an hour but there's no way I'd vote for the ndp or the liberals.

well I did- I am no longer otr- driving local for a not for hire fleet- Im lucky, I got out of the longhaul trap I was in. I am just curious what the current mood is of fellow drivers across the country regarding the min wage platform of the ndp. the cons worked hard to keep earnings down with rampant tfw- would ve brought in more but for public outcry over the quality of those persons.

There's no way you could be from BC. They love their NDP and Liberals out there lol.

That's because you are an independent man that is quite capable and willing to be responsible for your life/future . The people that vote NDP or Liberal (same ####, different pile) don't want to be responsible for their lives/future and want the government to look after them like mommy and daddy did when they were 6.

Yup. We need to get back to the old ways. If you aren't willing to work when there is work, then you starve. I'm tired of the government wasting my tax dollars on the lazy people.

funny people. I consistently made more 20 years ago ('95-'00) per week as a bike courier than I did OTR. So uh, I guess things changed for you guys on the road then, don't see why you should be complaining about tfws and low rates then. LOL
