I'll tell you something. The best country I've ever lived in was Japan. Even there I had a label. I was called a Gaijin. Officially that means I'm an outsider. Unofficially that means I'm less than a Japanese. But it doesn't take away from the fact that I would choose that place as second only to the US as a place I would raise a family. Nothing beats the U.S.

 

I wasn't justifying it. I was agreeing with you sir. I'm the farthest thing from a racist.

 

Man, look, I'm not ignorant in the least. Prejudices are everywhere. We arent talking about nowhere else right now.

 

He’s in jail now. Police Departments need to do a better Job, at policing themselves. Too often, complaints aren’t even investigated. Internal affairs, is almost non existent. It’s a very real problem, been going on for years. Only a small % of complaints get investigated, in many cases. This is the result.

 

I'm not attacking you. I respect you. However, when one tries to explain racism, it's like trying to explain why that cop killed that man. It's simply bad taste. To me anyway.

 

I hope they gave him his own jail cell. Because he’s going to be very popular, and not in a good way! Seeing how it’s late in the day now if they didn’t do so already, they probably won’t get him arraigned in front of a judge until Monday, at the earliest.

 

Context is always important. You can tell me that poor Americans live a difficult life. But when you put that into context of how the rest of the world's poor lives than that statement seems trivial.

I appreciate that. Racism cannot be explained. Seeing differences is one thing. Hating someone because of those differences is another. People need to prioritize love and acceptance. Not hate and racism.
