What exactly is it that you don't like? They already have all that info and more about you. Sounds like typical driver whining to me.

 

Totally true, I totally agree with everything said.

 

I read about a driver getting murdered in a terminal. Makes you think twice about watching TV in the driver's lounge late at night by yourself. I guess it could happen anywhere. But that sounds a little ridiculous having to face a camera and give your name, rank, and serial number.

Now this is one I haven't heard, Swift??? or some other company?

 

I havn't been to the Jurupa Valley terminal in a half a year, but if this is true, it is a long overdue. Anyone can go into any drivers lounge from the street. There is no security in any of the terminals, at least as of September anyway.

 

I couldn'the find anything that I thought it might be. It might have been the muder-suicide at JB Hunt in Atlanta that I found.

 

I have heard stories of homeless people using trucking terminals for free showers and shelter. In a big trucking company nobody knows who you are, and wouldn't question you if you looked liked a degenerate, so it makes some sense.

 

I'm surprised a pissed off mechanic or truck driver has never went ballistic and took out half a dozen office workers at a trucking company. Happens every other week at other types of work envionments.

 

Really. No shortage of PO'd drivers.

 

They are too tired to fight, mainly cause they fat. That's why vending machines are filled with honey buns and soda in drivers lounges to keep the dumb drivers obese, it's a protection mechanism
