I am having an issue with my Mirage. I hope it's an easy fix, but I have a feeling it's not. I went to use it this morning at a receiver, and nothing. It turns on and acts normally, but there is no sound. No talkback, no static, no click when I key the mic. Nothing. The needle swings when I key the mic, but doesn't move with squelch turned all the way down on any channel. SWR's are normal right at 1.2-1.3. Audio from the AM/FM radio is normal as is wx band, so I know that the antenna's are working. It is a Freightliner Cascadia, so all the audio is tied together with that splitter box. The radio does 65w, and I've been running it through the stock system (tried to run a dedicated coax and antenna, but couldn't get SWR's below 6.) I knew that might cause problems, but I thought it would give some sort of warning.

The crazy thing is that it was working perfectly fine last night. I turned it off before going to bed last night...and this morning...nothing.

    Any thoughts??

I think the wires to the speaker came loose. It will work for a bit, and then stop. I'm running across I-80 on this trip, and I know several reputable cb shops along the way. I'll swing by one and eith get an external speaker or have solder the wires to the speaker...whichever is cheapest.

    Thanks
