Are you sure? You can't argue with ohms law.
Okay, let's say you have a 120v circuit and a 100 watt light bulb. Using ohms law I = P ÷ V.
So 100/120 = 833ma. Let's use this same circuit using 240v. So 100/240 = 417ma. So if you use wattage in the circuit, then the answers A. 120v because the current is increasing with lower voltage.
Now if you replace the 100 watt bulb with a 100 ohm resistor, then we use I = V ÷ R.
So 120/100 = 1.2 amps. Also 240/100 = 2.4 amps. Now the current is acting in the opposite manner than the first scenario, so the answer should be B. 240v, since technically there really isn't 440 volts, because 3 phase is actually 380 volts.

Apologies to the OP for getting side tracked. You should be fine with a 5 or 7.5 amp fuse as was recommended by others, since your not running a high power radio. Unless you had tech do a mod to increase the power output, then you may need to increase the fuse rating.

Yes I am sure. I will ask again:
What voltage is most dangerous?
A. 120v
B. 220v
C. 480v
Bonus: Why?
This was a question on an exam in trade school. There is one answer and one answer only, and one reason why. Has nothing to do with resistors, watts or amps. The question is simple. -
If you have a empty light socket on a 120v 15 amp breaker and you stick your finger in it,do you think it will only deliver 833ma?
-
Nope, that was just a simple circuit in my examples to show what current does vs voltages.
-
oh god ...
you need to have a shock through your body of only 30 milliamps at 120 to kill you. -
Well this has been fun. The answer is
D: None of the above.
Why? Because people smarter than me claim voltage alone won't hurt you. So I will leave it up to you and 062 to figure it out.
