I hired two guys who had prison time. Kept quiet and worked their butt off. Kept nose clean and did there job.

You might be surprised how many people have had brushes with the law.

 

How long ago did this happen?Does your friend have any trucking exp?Some of the smaller companies might be more lenient but the mega carriers you would need to check their requirements or talk to the recruiter.Every company doesn't have the same policy concerning this sort of thing.I would deffinately talk to the company before filling out a lengthy application.

You should not tell your friend anything. Your friend needs to make there own life decisions, thats probably how they got there procession charge.

As far as misdemeanor's no one should really hold it against them as long as they tell them about it, and they test clean. Dirty Drug test is this industry will wash you out.
